Losar

Losar (Tibetan: ལོ་གསར་Wylie: lo-gsar) is the Tibetan word for “new year”. lo holds the semantic field “year, age”; sar holds the semantic field “new, fresh” ” (source:Wikipedia)

I spent Losar at the Boudhanath, one of the biggest Stupa all over Asia. Hindu religion and Buddhism perfectly blend in Kathmandu. Both are based on peace and respect of all the living beings. Not hard to believe.
